The holidays are officially here, and Uber has planned to make things easier by rolling out a feature that allows users to book tours and restaurant reservations through the application.

Travelers can use OpenTable to make tour reservations with Viator because companies have been integrated through the Uber Explore feature. In March, the Explore tab was launched in Mexico City and a couple of other areas in the United States.

In an exclusive interview with Travel + Leisure, Adib Roumani, Uber’s head of mobility verticals tech, mentioned, “we launched Uber Explore earlier this year to our customers beyond the ride.”

He added, “Uber Explore puts the best of cities at your fingertips, and today, we’re thrilled to announce our partnership with Viator, the world’s largest experienced marketplace. With this integration, Uber customers will now be able to book amazing experienced, activities and tours with Viator, all through the Uber app.

Whether you’re heading home to see friends and family or enjoying a staycation this holiday season, Uber and Viator have got your entertainment covered.”

The company plans to expand the Uber Travel feature, which initially came out in May, allowing users to store train, flight, and car reservations by syncing their email accounts with the Uber app. The feature is now expected to be available in over 10,000 cities across the globe, including most major cities in Canada and the U.S., while offering seamless compatibility with Gmail, Hotmail, and Outlook accounts. Users who book rides using Uber Travel will receive 10% cashback in the form of Uber Cash.

Uber also has major plans for Uber Charter, allowing customers to make reservations for coach buses, party buses, or limousines using the app. According to recent reports, this search is available in about 20 major cities across the U.S.
